Once upon a time I was a regular columnist for Frontier, the Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy Media Magazine which ran from 1997 to 2002. My column was called Comm Station and it was intended to highlight all the science fiction connections I kept seeing in my daily life - which in turn was to prove that sci-fi really is with us in our everyday existance whether we realise it or not.
